Charming Vintage Mexican Ball & Charm Wedding Necklace!

This Type of Fantastic Large Necklace Was Traditionally Worn by the mountain Villages, when they were betrothed.  During the Engagement friends & family would present the prospective bride charms to add to the necklace with symbols for abundant Crops,  Good Fortune,  Love & Livestock.  This necklace has a little house, several children, and a used Pontiac among other charms. The quantity denoting the wealth and position of the wearer.

This particular Necklace is very large with lavish charms.  It measures 6" deep and 22" wide , with 6 rows of chain.  This piece is quite old and used, with considerable wear and tarnishing.
