FIESTA GRANDE' DRESS

This Lovely 1950's Gala Festival Two Piece Dress, is made of Yards & Yards of Black Tulle.  The Fine Tulle or Netting has been Completely Hand Embroidered with SILK FLOSS, in the most Amazing Pattern of Gorgeous Flowers of Every Hue and Color!  

 

Chiapa de Corzo is the oldest colonial town in the state and hosts the Fiesta Grande (Grand Festival) 

or the iesta de los Parachicos celebration every year.  

Located on the banks of the Grijalva river in Chiapas , Mexico

The AMAZING Skirt is MORE than a FULL CIRCLE!!!  With 5 tiers of 8" each, measuring an overall 40" in length; the waist is 27" with 2" extra that could be let out.  The skirt Hem Measures a whopping 20 feet around, over 250", almost a double circle!  The skirt is lined with a Black Satin tiered circle as well!

 

 

FABULOUS trim around the Neckline that is decorated with solid petit point in Silk !    

The Blouse measures 50" around the bodice bust, and is 26" long. 

There are short Puffed Sleeves beneath the Ruffle.
