This Gorgeous  Lightweight Flapper Boudoir Robe dates from the 1920's Art Deco TAISHO Era, in Japan, and is a Soft Black Rayon Brocade with a Fabulous Hand Printed Floral Motif in a Multitude of Shades !

Patterned Wide  Collar Band goes all the way down the front on both sides.  Sleeves have a very wide Double Cuff  finished with a band of Black Solid Brocade.

 

 

The Border Design on this Garment is Large Irises, in Red which is vwery unusual.

With Large Spider Mums, Wisteria, mixed with a Classic Japanese Cherry Blossom, for the Yokes and sleeve bands..

 

The Large Pagoda Sleeves  are quite Long, being below wrist length, instead of the usual shorted mid forearm length.

The Robe has a wonderful Loose fit as you can see,

I would consider this Kimono to be a MEDIUM to Large in SIZE.
